Data & AI
The meaning behind the number.
Pollux is being built around traceable observations and clear limits. More data is only useful when its identity, timing and permitted use are understood.
What is connected today
The development app uses selected Twelve Data stock, ETF and FX observations and commodity references; CoinMarketCap current crypto data; and official releases from publishers including the US Treasury, BLS, BEA, Federal Reserve, ABS, ECB, Statistics Canada, Bank of Canada and World Bank. This is selected coverage, not every dataset those publishers offer.
Four different data states
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Observed | A value from a named publisher or licensed provider, with its measurement and time. |
| Derived | A calculation from identified inputs. Its meaning depends on the formula, window and input quality. |
| Sample | Illustrative development content. It must not be relied on as current market information. |
| Unavailable | The required data, licence or validation is missing. Pollux does not invent a replacement. |
Refresh time is not observation time
Selected market feeds target roughly five-minute central refreshes during relevant sessions; crypto targets five minutes around the clock. A provider may supply delayed or closed-session observations. Official macro series change with releases and revisions, not every few minutes. Actual freshness and coverage must remain visible in the app.
Calendar and revisions
Scheduled, released and cancelled events are distinct. Outcomes are attached only after an official release has been acquired and checked. Previous-period values and earlier estimates of the same period are different comparisons. Forecasts and consensus are unavailable unless a permitted source is connected.
How the Briefer is being built
Approved evidence is selected centrally and passed to a server-side AI service. References and numeric values are checked, followed by editorial review. An edition should connect events without turning coincidence into causation. Independent reporting and expert opinion require their own permissions and attribution.
The Global Daily Briefer is not yet published. Current evaluation coverage is narrower than the intended global product. AI can make mistakes, so structural checks alone are not evidence of accuracy. Reports that fail review, lose their source permission or become stale must not be presented as current.
Limits of the first release
Some proprietary surveys, consensus forecasts, licensed indices and specialist derivatives/breadth metrics are outside the current scope. ETF prices are not substituted for index values. Illustrative regime coordinates are not verified history. Future Data/MCP/API distribution requires separate rights.
Attribution and corrections
Sources and methodology accompany readings in the app. Providers do not endorse Pollux. Report a suspected identity, timing, value or interpretation error to [email protected]. Please include the reading name, observation date and source if available; no account secrets are needed.
